La crisis sanitaria derivada de la pandemia del Covid-19 obliga a la industria del entretenimiento a desarrollar la temporada de premiaciones con unos “ligeros cambios”. Debido a que las salas de cine han pasado gran parte del tiempo completamente cerradas, este año los estrenos de las plataformas en líneas tuvieron espacio para figurar como nominadas en la edición número 78 de los Golden Globes (Globos de Oro).

Este galardón, que da inicio a la temporada de premios, se celebra en la primera semana de enero, pero por la pandemia del coronavirus, fue pospuesto hasta el próximo 28 de febrero.

Hasta el momento se desconoce si el evento será de forma presencial o virtual.

Las comediantes Amy Poehler y Tina Fey son quienes conducirán por cuarto año los Golden Globes.
